Council is helping parents to make sure their restraints are properly fitted with our FREE Child Restraint Safety Checking Day.

On average, 70 per cent of restraints checked are found to be improperly fitted. If the seats are fitted properly children will be safer and more secure in a vehicle, especially in the case of an accident.

All safety checks will be carried out by an RTA Authorised Restraint Fitter who will check the safety of baby capsules and child seats. Each check takes approximately 15 minutes.

Attend our free child Restraint Safety Check Day on Saturday, 31 January 2015 from 9am-12noon.
